A game that's a little Off-Axis
Compete against an opponent by placing, leaning, and propagating. Once all pegs have been placed, the most pegs chained to the center by following their lean is the winner.
Core Mechanics
Area Control
While not traditional in appearance, the concepts of area control are alive and well in Skew. Control regions and access to the central peg by positioning and leaning your own pegs well.
Strategy
Skew demands that a player think ahead to create cascades of aligned pegs that benefit them more than their opponent. Scoring is rarely 100% for one player, so weighing your options carefully is key to coming out on top.
Puzzling
Play is simple but demanding, and the complex array of directional relations created flows and eddies, almost like a river. Deciphering how to best navigate that flow fits together like a good puzzle.
